It all began over a decade ago. Jane was working at Net-a-Porter, Simon at Rainbowwave — both immersed in the whirlwind of fashion, both unknowingly laying the groundwork for something much bigger. Their paths crossed on the Peter Pilotto account, and while they were connected through work, neither could have predicted that this would spark a friendship — and eventually, a business partnership — that would shape their future.
The name MOSO is more than a brand — it’s a blend of their surnames, Mokuolu and Sonar. A symbol of their shared vision and the roots of their journey.
WE ARE MOSO is our proud creation: a dynamic fashion agency dedicated to championing bold, emerging talent. We thrive on launching innovative designers into the global spotlight — and we’ve been doing just that. Though still young — just over two years old — MOSO has already introduced standout names like Margherita Missoni’s MACCAPANI, WOERA, EB DENIM, DEHANCHE, and ARMA leather to some of the most influential retailers around the world.
But what truly sets us apart is this: we don’t just represent brands — we build them. From the earliest steps of positioning and pricing to navigating global distribution, we take a hands-on, founder-first approach to brand development and wholesale strategy. We’re here to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to designers with real potential.
The idea for MOSO was born organically. As friends and peers in their networks began launching labels and turning to them for help, Jane and Simon saw the same gap again and again: talented creatives struggling to bridge the business side of fashion. They knew they could do more — and do it differently. So they joined forces to create an agency rooted in instinct, collaboration, and genuine care.
With over 15 years of experience each — across roles at Net-A-Porter, Rainbowwave, Simkhai, Malone Souliers, Giuliva Heritage, Peter Pilotto, J.W. Anderson, Dolce & Gabbana, and Ienki Ienki — they’ve built a unique foundation of commercial insight, global connections, and deep industry knowledge.
With a curated showroom in Paris and a truly international perspective, WE ARE MOSO is more than an agency. It’s a fresh, agile, and highly personal approach to brand-building — grounded in real experience and built for today’s fast-evolving fashion landscape.
